Nine Star Perennial Broccoli

£2.80

Nine Star perennial broccoli
These plants produce small pale yellow cauliflower-type heads and florets similar to purple sprouting broccoli over several years in early spring. Leaves are also edible and very nutritious.
To ensure your plants continue to grow the following year you must remove all flowering stems (which you'll be happy to eat!).

These are seeds I have collected from my own plants and since it is my first year producing nine
star seed I cannot guarantee exactly how they will turn out. Brassicas are 'outbreedeers' and ideally seed would be collected from at least twenty plants grown together which have been isolated during the flowering stage from all other
flowering brassicas. I had just five plants flowering together and while I tried to make sure no other brassicas flowered nearby I cannot be absolutely sure no cross pollination occurred. I’d really love to hear your feedback on growing these!
